Organisation
The principal defines and governs the appointment.
Why WhoActs
WhoActs exists to make the appointment between an organisation and its representative precise, current and verifiable at the moment of action.
The thesis
Businesses increasingly rely on employees, outsourced providers, professional representatives and software agents to act across organisational boundaries. The evidence of appointment is often less structured than the transaction it controls.
WhoActs is the public brand for Mandate Rail, the authority engine that models the mandate lifecycle, signed credential, presentation, policy check and verification receipt.
The principal defines and governs the appointment.
The authority, limits and evidence become machine-readable.
The relying party verifies before accepting the act.
Accountable operator
Founder of WhoActs
I am building WhoActs because identity systems can tell a business who signed in while leaving the harder question—what that actor may do for an organisation—buried in documents, roles and interpretation.
WhoActs is the public product and category brand. Mandate Rail is the underlying authority engine. I lead the product; website and enquiry operations run through Simon and Prime Ltd.
Commercial stage
WhoActs is recruiting a small number of organisations with a concrete authority problem and a real relying party. Pilots are scoped around the workflow, integration and assurance requirements.
Customer references, performance outcomes and certifications will be published only when evidence and permission support them. The initial offer is a paid, bounded design-partner pilot rather than a self-service production promise.
Design-partner programme
We will map the principal, representative, action, resource, policy and relying-party decision with your legal, security and operational stakeholders.
